"A beautiful, very robust ruby color, followed by strong scents of ripe fruit, skins and earth tones. Very elegant with a great personality, spicy with subtle wood notes. Intense, concentrated on the palate"

The best grapes are selected and handpicked from the finest estates from Tempranillo vines aged over 75 years. The wine is placed intact in Bordeaux casks to conserve all its characteristics. These are new French and American Oak casks where the wine rests 24 months during which time it undergoes 4 decantings from barrel to barrel, combining oaks of different types and ages.

Ecologico / EU Organic Wine

Current European Union legislation covers the growing of grapes, but not the processing into wine, this means that standards under which wine is processed may vary across the EU as individual certification bodies set their own standards. As the processing of the wine is not covered by EU legislation, all 'organic wines' sold in the EU must be labeled as ‘Wine Made from Organically Grown Grapes' and not 'organic wine'

Low Sulphur Wines

In wine making, sulphur dioxide is normally added to preserve it. However, organic regulations set much lower maximum levels for organic wine producers - around two thirds less than EU standards. This makes organic wine more agreeable for people prone to allergic reactions to wine, ie. Asthma, migraines, respiratory and skin disorders. And it does not seem to leave you feeling worse for wear in the morning, as some of our customers have found:

" I didn't used to be able to drink red wine without getting a headache, but
now I can with organic."

"Organic wine leaves you with less of a heavy head"
