The creation of the vineyard dates from just a few years ago (1998) and has its own vines, having constructed some modern installations that hold s 720 new American and French oak casks in which the wine matures its grand character.

Cherry red with purple rim.  Intense aroma of red fruit and berry with remains of cedar and tobacco. In mouth wine is intense with complex bouquet, ripe fruit, minerals notes and coal. Well balanced and structured with light tannins.

 

 

Varietal: Tempranillo
  Aging: 3 months in American oak barrels

 

 

 

Páramo de Guzman, Crianza  2000

Cherry red color with purple border, attractive and brilliant.  An original and complex bouquet, wine offers notes of fruit in liquor and forest. Gradually, the wine goes opening into notes as tobacco, cedar and cinnamon. The tasting in mouth is fine and fresh, with fruit and sweet notes. Its tannins are very present. The  wine has a lasting finish.

 

 Varietal: Tempranillo (select grapes, 40 year-old vines)
 Aging: Malolactic fermentation, 14 months in American and French oak casks.

 

Páramo de Guzman, Reserva  1999
Intense dark cherry red with purple glints on top.  Powerful and broad wild berries aroma with slight black tobacco nuances. Complex and piercing.  Pleasant attack, ripe red fruit integrated in toasted new oak flavors. Lightly astringent and well structured. Long and persistent finish.

Raíz de Guzmán 2000                                                                                         

Brillant cherry red with a beet red border.  Abundant ripe fruit on the nose with hints of mint, toffee, chocolate and minerals.  Well structured, balanced, expressive, and aromatic with a long finish.

Ruby color with cherry hues.  The nose displays powerful and elegant fruity aromas from its vintages in barrels, with a blend and balanced mixture of red fruit and vanilla sensations.  In the mouth, it is a wine with body, round and balanced, flavorful and fruity.

Intense and brilliant ruby color, with orange reflections.  The nose makes the vintage clear, with

drawn-out nuances of vanilla, plums and licorices.  In the mouth, it is a
